did a 3-card spread for a project I'm trying to launch and eight of wands reversed ended up in the future position
like... I know the upright is all about fast movement and momentum but reversed in the FUTURE spot feels ominous?? delays?? things not moving at all??
the project has already been slow to get off the ground so I'm a little paranoid now lol
does reversed in the future position always mean something bad or is it more nuanced than that?
oh I always get nervous with reversed future cards too but I've learned to think of them as a heads up rather than a death sentence lol
for 8 of wands reversed specifically I read it as 'slow down, don't rush this' which in a future position could actually be really useful info
Future position reversals often speak to the energy you're moving TOWARD, not a fixed outcome. Eight of Wands reversed whispers: scattered energy, plans stalling, miscommunication slipping through the cracks.
Ask yourself - is there anything you're not communicating clearly about this project? Any loose ends you haven't tied up?
The cards aren't saying 'this fails.' They're saying 'do this work first, then move forward.'
I got this exact card in a future position last year for a work thing. I took it as a sign to slow down my timeline and fix some gaps in my plan
ended up being really glad I did because I caught a big problem before it became a real issue
ok this is all making me feel better!! I think I've been so eager to just GO that I haven't properly finished the foundation stuff
going to take it as a 'not yet' not a 'never'
