so I did a reading about whether to leave my current job and pulled the eight of swords reversed in the outcome spot
like I know upright is that whole trapped/stuck feeling but reversed is supposed to be about release right? but it still felt heavy seeing it tbh
has anyone pulled this in a job situation before? trying to figure out if it's telling me im finally free to make the leap or more of a 'not yet, work through the fear first' vibe
i think reversed 8 of swords in a career context is usually really good actually?? like the whole point of that card is the restrictions are self imposed - reversed means you're finally seeing that and starting to loosen the mental trap. doesn't mean quit tomorrow, more like you're finally thinking clearly about it
omg I got this exact card when I was deciding whether to ask for a raise lol. for me it meant I'd been telling myself a story about not being 'ready' that wasn't even true. ended up asking and got it
following this bc I feel like 8 of swords reversed always confuses me?? like is it good news or is it just 'you're finally aware of the problem' which isnt the same as it being solved
