so I've been feeling super stuck at my job for months. did a single card pull last night just asking "where am i with this" and got the eight of swords reversed
from what I've read online it's supposed to mean release, new perspective, stepping out of self-imposed limits?? but idk if I'm just seeing what I want to see because I WANT it to mean I'm finally free of the mental block
has anyone gotten this reversed in a career context and had it actually mean something real vs just wishful thinking on my part lol
omg I got this exact card when I finally applied to grad school after years of telling myself I wasn't smart enough. it really can mean the mental block is lifting, not just wishful thinking
wait did the block feel different after the pull? like did something actually shift or is it more like permission to see things differently
this is so real. reversed swords cards in general feel like relief for me, upright ones stress me out lol
update: talked to my manager about switching teams instead of quitting outright. still scary but feels like the eight of swords thing - I built the cage, I can open the door too
