pulled the eight of swords reversed the morning of a huge job interview and now i cant stop overthinking it lol
i know upright its usually about feeling trapped in your own head / self doubt, so reversed... does that mean im about to break free of it? or is it warning me the self doubt is gonna mess up the interview
honestly the anxiety today has been SO loud, kind of wondering if the card is just mirroring that back at me
Oh sweet one, the timing of this card is actually really encouraging! The 8 of Swords upright is that feeling of being blindfolded and tied up by your own thoughts - the restrictions are self-imposed, not real.
Reversed, right before something like this, often means you're starting to SEE that the fear was bigger than the actual situation. The blindfold is coming off.
Trust your inner knowing today. You already have the tools, the card is just confirming you're finally believing it.
omg i got this exact card before a big presentation at work last year. took it as "the only thing in your way is you" and it actually helped me calm down lol
update: interview went so much better than i expected!! i think just reframing it as "the fear is louder than the actual threat" got me out of my own head enough to actually answer clearly instead of spiraling
found out tomorrow if i got it but either way i feel like i proved something to myself today
this thread is exactly what i needed to read, i have an interview next week and have been in my head about it nonstop
