did a reading about whether to keep pushing on a creative project ive been stuck on for a while and got the eight of cups reversed in the advice position
i know upright its about walking away from something that doesnt serve you anymore. but reversed as ADVICE feels backwards to me? like is it telling me to walk away or telling me to stop avoiding and actually finish the thing
every site i read gives a different answer lol. some say reversed advice means "stagnation - you're afraid to leave" and others say it means "don't abandon this, you're closer than you think"
anyone dealt with this specific card in the advice spot? which way did you end up reading it
following this bc I got almost the same thing last month but it was about a relationship not a project lol. still not sure I read it right
the way I've always separated it: upright reversed = you WILL leave / avoid leaving. reversed in advice = the advice is to stop circling the decision and actually choose, whichever way that goes for you
so for you it might be less "walk away" and more "stop staying in limbo about it"
honestly any card reversed in the advice position throws me off too, it never feels as clean as upright advice cards
