asked what I should do about a decision I've been putting off (whether to take a new job offer) and pulled two of swords reversed as the advice card
like... isn't the advice supposed to help?? upright I get, it's "stop avoiding, make the choice." but reversed as ADVICE feels contradictory. is it telling me to keep waiting? or telling me my avoidance is literally the problem it's warning me about?
genuinely confused how you're supposed to act on this one when it shows up in the advice spot
From a symbolic perspective, this is one of the more interesting reversed-as-advice cases. The Two of Swords upright is a woman blindfolded, balancing two swords - a deliberate, conscious pause. Reversed, that balance breaks down.
As advice, it's usually less "wait longer" and more "stop pretending you don't already know." The blindfold coming off is the point. You likely have more information than you're admitting to yourself - the card is nudging you to actually look at it instead of holding the scales indefinitely.
omg the "blindfold coming off" thing just hit me. I think I already know which way I lean on the job offer, I just don't want to deal with the fallout of picking
same energy as when a card basically calls you out lol. sounds like you already have your answer honestly
