ok so i was asking about whether to take on a second freelance gig and the advice card i pulled was two of pentacles reversed
like... is it telling me i shouldnt try to balance both? or that im already dropping balls and need to get organized before adding more?
advice cards are supposed to help but this one just stressed me out more lol
what would you guys take from this?
honestly reversed two of pents in advice usually means "you're already at capacity"
like the cards are literally showing you a juggler who dropped everything. maybe sit this one out?
i pulled this exact card as advice last year when debating a promotion! for me it was saying i needed to get my current workload under control before taking on more responsibility
ended up waiting 3 months and then going for it once things felt manageable
the way i read reversed pentacles is usually about priorities being off
maybe the advice is less about "dont do it" and more about "figure out what you can drop first"
update: decided to pass on the extra gig for now. gonna focus on getting my current stuff under control first
thanks for helping me think it through yall
this thread popped up when i was searching for two of pents advice meanings and honestly your decision makes total sense
the reversed juggler dropping balls is such clear imagery. sometimes the cards are just like "no" lol
omg hi! yeah looking back im really glad i listened to it. my main client ended up needing way more hours this month than expected so i would have been SO stressed trying to do both
trust the cards i guess haha
found this thread while googling the same card and honestly this helped so much. I've been agonizing over whether to take on a second part time job or not and reading everyone's takes on "drop something" instead of "add something" is really clicking.
thanks for asking this OP, glad it worked out for you!
