asked what I needed to know about a situation with my roommate and got the two of swords reversed in the advice spot
like okay I get the upright meaning is being stuck between two choices/avoidance but reversed as ADVICE?? is it telling me to keep avoiding or to finally decide something lol
every description I find online is written for when it shows up as the situation or outcome, not advice. anyone dealt with this position before
following this bc I got the same card as advice in a career reading last month and was so lost lol
Oh this is a good one to sit with. As advice, a reversed two of swords is usually telling you the blindfold needs to come off - stop avoiding the choice and look at the information you've been pushing away.
The reversal here isn't warning you to stay stuck, it's nudging you to finally move. Ask yourself what you already know deep down but haven't wanted to admit.
oh wow that reframe helps a lot, I always assumed reversed = worse version of the meaning but that's not really how it works huh
update: sat with this for like 3 days lol. realized I'd been avoiding just asking my roommate straight up about splitting some bills instead of quietly resenting it
finally brought it up last night and it went so much better than the scenario I built up in my head. glad the card pushed me instead of me sitting on it another month
