so i pulled a 3 card spread today (situation / obstacle / advice) about whether to leave my current job for a new offer
situation and obstacle cards made total sense but the advice card was ten of swords reversed and i just... sat there like ok what am i supposed to DO with that
like is it telling me to stop dwelling on the worst case scenario? or that the bad situation is basically over already? or something else entirely
curious how you guys read reversed swords cards when they show up as advice specifically, feels different than getting them in like the present or outcome spot
reversed 10 of swords as advice always reads to me as "let it go, the worst has already happened, stop replaying it in your head". so maybe it's telling you the fear of the old job situation is what's holding you back more than the actual decision
ooh good question, i never really thought about how position changes the meaning that much. following this
update: talked it through with my partner last night and yeah i think catnip's read was spot on, i was way more scared of regretting the old job than excited about the new one. put in my notice this morning lol
