asked my deck for advice on a decision I've been sitting on for weeks (whether to finally start therapy) and got the moon reversed in the advice spot
like... is it telling me to trust my gut more? or stop overthinking? or that I'm lying to myself about something?
my usual go-to meanings for the moon (illusion, intuition, subconscious stuff) all kind of apply and none of them tell me what to actually DO
how do you translate 'the moon reversed' into an actual action when it shows up as advice
Oh this is such a good question. The cards whisper something specific here...
As advice, the Moon reversed usually means: stop letting confusion talk you out of a clarity you already have. It's less 'go gather more information' and more 'trust what you already sense to be true, even if it's uncomfortable.'
Given what you shared about therapy - I'd read this as the deck nudging you past the hesitation, not away from the decision itself. Trust your inner knowing on this one.
omg I got this exact card for a similar decision once and read it as 'stop spiraling and just take the first step.' the confusion IS the thing you have to move through, not avoid
update: booked my first session lol. rereading everyone's replies helped me realize I was using 'needing more clarity' as an excuse to stall. thank you both
