ok so I've been going back and forth about whether to leave my job and start freelancing. asked the cards for advice and pulled the emperor reversed??
like... what does that even mean as advice? don't be rigid? stop trying to control everything? I genuinely cannot figure out if the cards are telling me to take the leap or stay put
I've been sitting with it for a few days and I keep going back and forth. any help interpreting this as advice would be amazing
ugh reversed emperor as advice is SO tricky. my first instinct would be that it's telling you to loosen up on the need to have everything planned out before you make the move?
The cards whisper something interesting here...
The Emperor reversed as advice often points to where we're being too rigid or where external authority is holding us back. In a career question, this can mean: stop waiting for permission, stop following someone else's rules for how your life should look.
It's not saying "don't plan" - it's saying "don't let fear of losing structure stop you from building your own."
Trust your inner knowing on this one. What does YOUR gut say the cards mean?
this is so helpful!! I pulled the emperor reversed in a career reading last year and it took me ages to understand it. ended up being about leaving a controlling boss situation and finding something that let me work more independently
maybe it's nudging you toward more autonomy?
ok Sarah K and CosmicDreamer thank you so much. the "stop waiting for permission" thing really landed. I think I've been stalling because I wanted everything to be perfectly in place first... maybe that IS the emperor energy I need to let go of
