asked what I should do about a job offer im on the fence about and pulled the devil reversed in the advice spot??
like is it telling me to break free from something? or is it warning me not to make a fear based decision? every source says something different lol
how do you actually read devil reversed when its literally telling you what to DO instead of just describing a situation
in the advice position i always read reversed devil as "stop choosing the comfortable cage." like whatever feels safe but kind of soul-crushing, thats what its pointing at
The cards whisper something important here. In the advice position, The Devil reversed is inviting you to examine what chains you've placed on yourself - often out of fear disguised as practicality.
Ask: am I considering this offer from a place of genuine desire, or am I clinging to what's familiar because change feels frightening? Trust your inner knowing on which one it is.
following this bc i got the same card as advice for a totally different situation and had NO idea what to do with it lol
update: turned the offer down. once i actually sat with the "comfortable cage" framing i realized i was just scared of negotiating a bigger unknown, not that the offer itself was wrong for me. feels like the right call now that i'm not deciding from panic
the comfortable cage line is gonna stick with me lol. following this thread bc i think i'm doing the exact same thing with a decision of my own right now
