ok so I asked my deck what I should do about my relationship situation and the advice card I pulled was the ten of cups... reversed
like... isn't the ten of cups supposed to be the happy family card?? the whole "domestic bliss" thing?? so why is it reversed in the advice spot
does this mean I'm supposed to walk away? or that I'm chasing something unrealistic? I genuinely cannot figure out what this card is telling me to do
anyone had this come up as advice before??
Oh, the ten of cups reversed as advice is such a rich one to sit with!
The cards whisper something interesting here - it's not saying "leave" or "stay." Reversed advice cards often point to where we're out of alignment with what we truly want.
Ask yourself: Are you chasing someone else's version of happiness right now? The ten of cups reversed as advice might be gently nudging you to get honest about whether the relationship you're in matches YOUR vision of emotional fulfillment - not what you think it should look like.
Trust your inner knowing. The confusion itself might be the message.
wait this makes so much sense actually. I pulled something similar once and I think it was pointing at the expectations I was bringing into the situation, not the relationship itself
the advice position always trips me up too. reversed cards there feel backwards to interpret lol
but honestly I think it means look at whether you're idealizing things
I got ten of cups reversed in a love reading once and it turned out I was trying to fit my life into this picture-perfect idea I had instead of just... living it. maybe something like that?
ok so I journaled about this and I think the card is literally pointing at how I keep comparing what we have to this idealized version in my head. that actually tracks so much
thanks everyone this helped way more than I expected
