asked what I should do about a work situation that's been dragging on for months and pulled the nine of wands reversed as the advice card
upright I get - keep pushing, you're almost there. but reversed as ADVICE?? like is it telling me to stop pushing? rest? give up entirely??
feels like the opposite of helpful advice lol. anyone read this position differently
Such a good question! The cards whisper something specific here - reversed as advice, the Nine of Wands is usually telling you to put the shield down, not the sword.
Upright nine of wands is defensive readiness - staying braced for the next hit. Reversed as advice often means: you don't need to brace anymore. Rest isn't giving up, it's what actually lets you finish strong.
Ask yourself where you're still guarding against something that already passed.
omg I got this exact card position last month for a similar work thing. I read it as permission to set a boundary instead of just gritting my teeth through it
