asked what I should do about a project I've been dragging my feet on for months and pulled nine of wands reversed in the advice spot
like is it telling me to finally push through and finish the thing? or is it telling me to actually put it down because I'm running on fumes and forcing it isn't working anymore?
every article I read says something different and now I'm just sitting here more confused than when I started lol. how do you all read this one as actual advice and not just "you're tired"
Oh I love this question because reversed Nine of Wands as advice is so often misread as purely negative.
The cards whisper something specific here: it's rarely telling you to abandon the project entirely. It's asking you to check WHY you're pushing. If you're defending walls that no one is attacking anymore, or you're exhausted from carrying something alone, the advice is to put down the armor, not the goal.
Trust your inner knowing - can you finish this with support instead of white-knuckling it solo?
for me it was less "quit" and more "stop guarding this so hard, let someone actually help you" - I'd been doing a whole thing solo out of stubbornness and reversed nine of wands as advice was basically calling that out lol
following this bc I got the same card as advice last week for something totally different lol. the exhaustion angle makes so much sense actually
