asked what I should do about second-guessing a job offer and pulled nine of swords reversed in the advice position
like... upright I get, its anxiety spiraling at 3am about stuff that probably wont even happen. but reversed as ADVICE? is it telling me to let the anxious thoughts go and just decide already, or is it warning me im already ignoring red flags by pretending im not worried
never gotten it in an advice spot before so genuinely stuck on how to read the direction of it
The cards whisper something gentle here. In the advice position, reversed Nine of Swords is usually telling you to release the spiral rather than chase down every worst case scenario in your head.
Ask yourself honestly: is there real evidence backing the doubt, or is this the 3am anxiety voice dressed up as intuition? If it is the anxiety voice, the advice is to quiet it and trust the decision you already know you want to make. Trust your inner knowing on this one.
omg the 3am anxiety spiral comparison is SO accurate lol. I always read it as advice to talk to someone/journal it out before the thoughts get too big
following this bc I got the same card in a similar position last month and just went with my gut in the end. worked out okay
update: took the advice to actually name what was bugging me instead of just spiraling about it in my head. turned out to be one specific clause in the contract, brought it up and they were totally fine adjusting it. glad I didnt just sit there anxious about nothing
