pulled the moon reversed in a general reading last week and now i'm stuck between two totally different interpretations lol
one book i have says reversed moon means the fog is lifting - like whatever confusion or illusion you've been in is about to make sense. but then i saw a video that said it's kind of the opposite, like deception or messy feelings coming to light before things get clearer
how do you personally read it? does the context in the spread decide which meaning applies or is one just more "correct" than the other
Oh this is one of my favorite cards to talk about because both readings you found are true - just at different points in the process.
The Moon reversed almost always means the fog is lifting eventually, but the timing depends on the rest of the spread. If it's sitting near cards of struggle or denial, you're still walking through the confusion. If it's near cards of resolution or clarity, the fog is actively clearing.
Trust your inner knowing about where YOU are in that journey when you look at the card.
omg I always assumed reversed moon = bad and got kind of anxious every time it showed up lol. this thread is making me rethink that completely
I read it based on the question honestly. if i asked about a situation i already suspected was shady, reversed moon = truth coming out. if i asked about my own anxiety, it's more like the fog lifting for me personally
ok this makes so much sense now, thank you!! gonna start paying attention to what's around it in the spread instead of just panicking lol
