been doing shadow work for the past few weeks and pulled the devil reversed like three separate times now
I know it's usually about breaking free from something - bad habits, self-imposed limits, that kind of thing. but three times feels like a lot??
anyone else had a card show up repeatedly during shadow work specifically? trying to figure out if I'm missing something obvious or if I'm just overthinking a coincidence lol
Shadow work has a way of putting the same mirror in front of you until you actually look, sweet one. The Devil reversed repeating during this kind of work usually means you're circling something specific - maybe a pattern you keep almost-releasing but not quite letting go of yet.
Instead of asking why it keeps showing up, try asking what would change if I actually let this go today. Sometimes the repetition is just the deck being patient with you.
ok this happened to me with the hermit of all cards lol, pulled it like 4 times during a month I was doing a lot of solo journaling. felt very called out
have you noticed a pattern in what you're asking about when it comes up? for me repeated cards usually mean I'm asking the same underlying question in different wording without realizing it
update: sat with it more and I think it's about a habit I keep saying I'll quit and then talking myself out of quitting lol. kind of annoying that the cards called it but also, thanks for helping me actually look at it instead of ignoring it
