so I'm a cap sun and I've been seeing this guy who's also a cap for about 3 months now
the good: we both have our shit together, same work ethic, neither of us plays games
the bad: we're both stubborn as hell and neither wants to be the first to text lol. also our dates are like... business meetings sometimes?? very scheduled, very practical
is this just what happens when two goats date? anyone else been in a cap+cap relationship?
Cap + Cap can actually be a power couple situation! Looking at the sun sign alone, you both value stability, ambition, and long-term thinking.
The texting thing is classic Capricorn - neither wants to seem too eager. One of you will have to break that pattern or you'll both just wait forever lol.
As for the 'business meeting' dates - that's saturn energy. Try planning something spontaneous together (yes I know that's an oxymoron for caps). Let the other placements in your charts breathe a little.
im a cap married to a cap for 7 years!! honestly it took us like a year to stop being so formal with each other
once you both relax it's amazing tho. we just GET each other on a level nobody else does
the scheduled practical dates thing made me laugh bc same. my cap ex and I literally had a shared google calendar for date nights
but tbh that level of organization is actually kind of romantic when you think about it?? like you both care enough to plan properly

also good point about other placements - he's got a pisces moon which does come out sometimes when we're alone
wait the pisces moon detail is so interesting!! cap sun + pisces moon is such a wild combo - like all that saturn discipline on the outside but secretly a total softie
honestly that might be what saves the relationship from being too business-y? caps with water moons tend to have an emotional depth they don't advertise
does he actually open up more when it's just the two of you? that placement usually needs to feel really safe before the feelings come out

like in public/around friends hes the classic cap - composed, a little reserved, very put together. but when its just us he gets goofy and soft and actually talks about his feelings?? took him a while to get there tho. it definitely needed him to feel safe first like you said
weve hit the 5 month mark now and Im realizing the 'business meeting dates' thing has mellowed out a lot. we still plan everything lol but theres way more warmth to it now. that pisces moon really is the secret softie inside the saturn armor
as a cap with a pisces moon I can confirm we are emotional disasters in private and stone walls in public lol. glad he opened up!!
cap sun dating a cap moon here and the 'business meeting dates' thing made me laugh way too hard bc SAME. ours turned into actual dates once we both stopped taking ourselves so seriously lol. glad it's working out for you two
Glad to see this thread again - and honestly, this update is a great example of what I mentioned earlier about other placements filling in the gaps.
Five months in and the dynamic softening like this is a really good sign. Saturn (Capricorn's ruler) builds trust slowly, but once it's built it tends to stay. The structure is still there, just with more warmth underneath - that's a solid foundation, not a rigid one.
