ok so I've been seeing this aquarius guy for a few months and I genuinely cannot tell if we're the most compatible people alive or completely incompatible lol
like on one hand we have the BEST conversations. he'll just say something completely random and unexpected and I'm obsessed with it. we both hate being bored and there's never a dull moment
but then sometimes I want to just be spontaneous and go on an adventure and he wants to "think it through" first?? I'm a sag, I don't DO planning lol
also he goes kind of cold and distant sometimes and I never know if I did something or if he just needs space. as a sag I'm pretty open about how I feel so the whole detached thing throws me off
anyone else a sag who's dated an aquarius? how did you navigate the emotional difference?
omg yes!! I dated an aquarius for almost a year and the chemistry was incredible but the emotional availability thing was SO real. once I stopped taking the distance personally it got a lot better

I was with an aquarius for almost two years and the hot/cold thing used to drive me absolutely insane. I'm so "what are you feeling, let's talk about it" and he was just... not lol
what helped me was realizing he showed care in completely different ways. like he remembered every random thing I mentioned and would bring it up weeks later. that's love for him, just not the verbal kind
the spontaneous vs planning thing is real too. I eventually learned to give like a 30 min heads up instead of "let's go RIGHT NOW" and honestly that tiny adjustment helped so much. he wasn't saying no, he just needed a second to shift gears
how are things going now? did it get easier?

things have gotten so much better honestly. the whole giving him a heads up before spontaneous plans thing = game changer, we do that now and he's way more down for adventures
also i stopped taking the cold moments personally, and weirdly once i did that he started opening up more on his own?? like the less i chased an explanation the more he just gave me one
still not perfect (he def still needs his cave time lol) but we've found a rhythm that works. thank you all for this thread, genuinely helped me not give up on it
