ok so I've been seeing this aquarius for like 4 months now and honestly?? it's the most interesting relationship I've ever been in but also lowkey confusing
like we have SO much fun together. the conversations never end, we'll be up until 3am talking about space and philosophy and random conspiracy theories and I genuinely love that
but then sometimes he just... disappears into his own world for days. no texting, kinda checked out, and I'm sitting here like... did I do something?? as a sag I have my independent streak too but his is on another level lol
anyone else been in a sag + aquarius thing? does it get easier or is this just how they are
omg this is so relatable!! my aquarius best friend does the same disappearing act and I've known her for 10 years. it's just how they recharge. once I stopped taking it personally everything got so much easier
Sag + Aquarius is actually one of the more naturally compatible fire-air combos in the zodiac. You share a love of freedom, big ideas, and independence - which is why the chemistry feels so easy.
The 'disappearing' you're describing is classic Aquarius detachment. It's not emotional withdrawal from you - it's their air sign need to process internally and recharge from social energy.
As a Sag, you actually have a better shot at not taking this personally than most signs would. Your own need for space means you understand the concept instinctively, even if it feels different when you're on the receiving end.
The real long-term question for Sag-Aquarius is usually emotional depth. Both signs can stay in the fun/intellectual zone forever and avoid deeper vulnerability. That's worth watching.
dated an aquarius for two years as a sag! the disappearing thing doesn't go away lol but you do get used to it. I started using that time to do my own thing and honestly it made us both happier
the key is they always come back more present and excited to talk than before
ok this is all really helpful thank you!! MarcusAstro the thing about emotional depth is kind of hitting... we're great at the fun conversations but he definitely deflects whenever anything gets real
maybe that's the work. gonna try being more direct about what I need and see how he handles it
