ok so I've been seeing this Scorpio guy for about 3 months now and I genuinely don't know if I'm falling for him or if he's just cast some kind of spell on me lol
like the connection is INTENSE. we can talk for hours and he just... gets me on this weird deep level that most people never bother to go to. but then he'll get super quiet and broody and I have no idea what's happening in his head and I start spiraling 😅
as an Aquarius I'm used to keeping things kinda light and free-flowing, you know? I love my independence and I don't always want to do a full emotional deep-dive at 11pm on a Tuesday. but with him it feels like every conversation eventually turns into something really meaningful whether I planned for it or not
the physical chemistry is also... a lot. like A LOT. I don't really want to say more than that lol
but here's my thing - he gets jealous sometimes and I genuinely don't understand why? I'm loyal, I'm just also friendly with everyone and I need my own space and time with friends. he doesn't always say he's jealous but I can just FEEL it and it creates this weird tension between us
anyone else an Aquarius who's dated or is dating a Scorpio? how did you navigate the whole intensity vs freedom thing? did it work out? I'm trying to figure out if this is worth leaning into or if we're just fundamentally too different
omg yes!! I dated a Scorpio for almost a year as an Aquarius and you described it PERFECTLY. the spell thing is so real 😭 I couldn't explain why I kept going back even when things felt overwhelming
the jealousy thing was our biggest issue too. what helped us was me being really explicit about what my friendships look like - like giving him context rather than just expecting him to trust me blindly. Scorpios need to feel secure and once he did, the jealousy got way better
honestly the connection I had with that Scorpio was unlike anything I've experienced before or since. it didn't work out for other reasons but I don't regret it at all

the intensity thing is real but I've kind of learned to see it as a feature not a bug? like she pushes me to actually feel things instead of just intellectualizing everything, which honestly was something I needed even if it scared me at first
the space thing is something we had to actually talk about directly. I told her I need like 2 nights a week that are just mine - no check-ins, no pressure. she was resistant at first but once she understood it wasn't about her it got better. Scorpios are actually really reasonable when they feel secure

the jealousy thing - it's not really about you being untrustworthy, it's more that Scorpios bond deeply and sometimes that shows up as wanting to feel like a priority. your guy probably isn't even fully aware of why he gets that way
honest advice: just talk to him. like directly. Scorpios actually love direct communication even if they're not always great at initiating it themselves. tell him what you told us here - that you're loyal but need freedom. he'll respect the honesty way more than if you just pull away
