ok so there's this guy at work who is a total aquarius (i looked him up lol) and I am very much a cancer and idk if this is like... astrologically doomed from the start

he's super smart and interesting but also kind of... emotionally detached? like he'll have this deep conversation with me and then the next day he's just totally chill like nothing happened

and I'm over here replaying every word he said for three days straight

the whole water vs air sign thing feels like it could be really bad. like I need emotional depth and he seems to just float above everything

has anyone been in a cancer + aquarius situation? am I setting myself up for heartbreak or is there something I'm missing about aquarius people?
