ok so I've been at my job for like 8 months now and my boss is a capricorn and honestly?? its the best working relationship I've ever had
we're both earth signs so maybe that's why but like... she gives me clear expectations, I deliver, she trusts me more, repeat. no drama, no weird passive aggressive stuff, just work getting done
the only thing is we're both perfectionists so sometimes we'll spend way too long on details that don't matter lol. like we once spent an hour debating font choices for an internal doc that maybe 5 people would read
any other virgos working with capricorns? is this just a good match or did I get lucky with a chill one

I had a capricorn manager for 3 years and it was so refreshing. no games, no micromanaging, just mutual respect. we both cared about doing things right so there was never that frustrating feeling of like... why doesn't anyone else care about quality??

I'm a cap and I love working with virgos. yall catch all the mistakes I miss and actually give a damn. the only tricky part is neither of us wants to admit when something is "good enough" and we should move on
honestly I think you did get lucky but also it helps that earth signs just GET each other on some level?? like we value the same things - reliability, competence, not wasting peoples time
I've had bad experiences with cap bosses but those were ones with tough moon placements. the sign alone isn't everything
lol glad it's not just me with the font debates. also good point about moon signs - I should ask her about that sometime (in a casual way, don't wanna be weird about it at work)

im a taurus so also earth sign and my last boss was a capricorn and it was genuinely the most productive I've ever been at any job. like she just got how I work without me having to explain myself
the perfectionist spiral is SO real though. we once rewrote the same email five times because the tone wasn't quite right... for a meeting invite 😭
but honestly I think it's worth it for everything else. you probably didn't just get lucky - earth signs at work together are genuinely just built different
virgo here and I had almost the exact same situation with a capricorn manager a few years back!! that mutual respect loop you described is SO real - the longer you work together the more they just... trust you to handle things
the perfectionism thing is the only real challenge honestly. we'd both get stuck tweaking stuff that was already fine lol. eventually we started doing a "good enough?" check before finalizing anything and it helped a lot
not luck, I genuinely think virgo + capricorn is one of the better work pairings. same values around doing things right, neither of you needs to be the center of attention, no drama. you just both want the work to be good
taurus here and I had the exact same dynamic with a virgo manager for two years - earth sign combos in the workplace are genuinely underrated
the font debate thing made me laugh because YES. we'd do the same with like... slide deck alignment. nobody would ever notice but we both knew it was off lol
I think it's less luck and more just compatibility that's real? capricorn and virgo both want things done right the first time, so you're not constantly translating your work style for each other
the only thing I'd say is don't let the perfectionism spiral into analysis paralysis on bigger decisions. that was our one blindspot - we'd both see all the ways something could go wrong and end up overthinking it. learning to set a "good enough by X date" rule changed things a lot for us
