ok I see so many posts about how intense cancer/scorpio combos are and yeah, they're right... but no one talks about why it actually WORKS when it does

I'm a Cancer, my partner is a Scorpio. we've been together almost 4 years now and honestly it's the best relationship I've ever been in. wanted to share what I've noticed

first - the emotional depth thing is real. like we don't do small talk with each other. ever. we're always in the deep end and at first I thought that would be overwhelming but now it feels like the only way I know how to connect

second - Scorpios need to know you're not going anywhere. as a Cancer I'm naturally loyal and a homebody so that worked out for us. once my partner felt secure, they just... opened up completely. like a different person
