my best friend is a sadge and i'm a cancer sun and on paper we make zero sense right? she's out the door planning a spontaneous trip and i'm the one asking if we packed snacks and told our families where we're going lol
but like... 8 years later and she's still the person who gets me to leave my comfort zone in a way that feels safe instead of scary. and i think i'm the person who gives her a soft place to land when all that fire burns her out
anyone else have a cancer-sadge friendship that just works even though it "shouldn't"
yes!! my sadge bestie literally dragged me to a concert two states away with like 48 hours notice and it ended up being one of my favorite memories ever. never would've done that alone
as a fellow cancer with a sadge best friend of 10+ years - i think it works because we're not competing for the same role. she brings the adventure, i bring the safety net. neither of us has to be both
the 'not competing for the same role' thing is such a good way to put it. gonna send this whole thread to her lol
