see a lot of posts about cancer and capricorn being an odd pairing so wanted to share the other side of it
im the cancer, my partner is capricorn, and honestly the differences are what make it work? i handle the emotional stuff and remembering why things matter, he handles the practical stuff and actually following through on plans. we balance each other out instead of clashing
it wasnt instant though, took us a while to learn each others language. he had to learn that i need reassurance sometimes and i had to learn that his quietness isnt him being distant, its just how he processes things
curious if other cancer/capricorn pairs relate to this or if we just got lucky
as the capricorn in one of these pairings i relate to this so much. my cancer partner taught me that checking in emotionally isnt a waste of time, it actually makes the practical stuff go smoother bc we're not sitting on unspoken stuff
this is really reassuring to read, im a cancer just starting to date a capricorn and everyone keeps telling me its a mismatch. glad to hear it can actually balance out once you learn each others rhythm
@moth_and_moon give it time honestly, the first few months were the hardest bc we both had to unlearn some assumptions. worth it though
