ok so I've been seeing a lot of posts lately about how leos are the most arrogant sign and I'm just... genuinely confused?
like I'm a leo sun and I don't walk around thinking I'm better than everyone. I just really care about the people I love and yes I like to have a good time, but arrogant??
I've met way more arrogant capricorns and scorpios tbh (no offense, I love y'all). is the leo arrogance thing just a stereotype people repeat without thinking about it?
or is there something in our chart that makes us come off that way even when we don't mean to? genuinely curious what others think
omg finally someone said it!! my best friend is a leo and she is the most generous, warm person I know. like she literally hypes everyone around her up constantly
I think people confuse confidence with arrogance and that's not fair
Looking at Leo's fixed fire nature, there's actually a really interesting dynamic happening here.
Leo is ruled by the Sun, which literally sits at the center of our solar system - so there's a natural pull toward being seen and recognized. That's not arrogance, that's the solar archetype expressing itself. The issue is when that energy is misread by others who aren't as outwardly expressive.
What often reads as "arrogance" is usually Leo's natural self-assurance. Fixed signs in general hold their energy strongly - but fixed fire (Leo) does it loudly, while fixed earth (Taurus) or fixed water (Scorpio) do it quietly. Loud = arrogant in a lot of people's minds, which isn't fair.
Also worth noting: a Leo with challenging Saturn placements or a more introverted rising sign can actually really struggle with the "you must perform" expectation that comes with this reputation.
I dated a leo for two years and honestly the "arrogance" thing was really just him being super protective of his ideas and passions. once I understood that it totally changed how I saw it
he'd defend something he loved intensely and people took that as looking down on others. wasn't that at all
I feel like every sign has a stereotype that doesn't fit most of the people in that sign?? scorpios get called manipulative, capricorns get called cold, leos get called arrogant
maybe it's more about which energy is most visible when that sign is unbalanced or stressed
