see so many posts saying aquarius and cancer are a nightmare pairing so I wanted to share the other side lol
I'm aquarius, my partner's cancer, together almost 4 years now. on paper we shouldn't work, I need a ton of independence and he's way more homebody and emotionally expressive than me
what actually made it click: he stopped taking my need for space personally, and I got a lot better at actually saying what I'm feeling instead of intellectualizing everything. now he's basically my grounding point and I like to think I loosen him up a bit
curious if other aquarius/cancer pairs found a similar groove or if we're just the exception
this is so nice to read, I'm cancer dating an aquarius and we're only a year in so the space thing is still something I'm learning not to take personally
same combo here, married 6 years. honestly agree it just takes both people actually communicating instead of assuming the other is being cold or clingy
following this, I always hear this pairing is doomed so it's cool to see it actually working for people
